- Knotts Family Agency offers prospective Resource Parents (Foster Parents) $1,000 to complete the training to become a Resource Parent.
- While the courses are free, Knotts Family Agency will compensate successful applicants with a Training Incentive of $1000 for completing the Resource Family Approval training with Knotts Family Agency.
- This Training Incentive is paid once County Clearance is received and the first child is placed in your home.

Basic Requirements To Become A Foster Parent
Must be at least 21 years of age
Driver’s license: Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Bedroom: At least one extra bedroom in your home (which may be rented or owned).
Background: Must pass an employment and criminal background check. No minimum income requirements but parents must be able to financially manage their own expenses.
