Foster Care & Adoption
We provide a variety of services for children and youth in “out-of-home” care. Knotts Family Agency helps parents navigate the Resource Family Approval (RFA) process to become a foster and/or adoptive parent, in addition to family reunification, kinship care and other post- adoption services.
Family Support and Training
Parents have access to community-based programs, including mentoring, tutoring, youth leadership development, family strengthening, financial literacy, and culturally-competent strategies to support resilience and self-sufficiency and the prevention of mental health issues.
Respite Foster Care
You may be interested in becoming a Foster/Resource Parent but you are not sure if you can do it long term. Knotts Family Agency trains and supports temporary foster care parents to provide much-needed respite care.
